Man bailed in inquiry into arson attack at OAP's home

A 30-year-old man who was arrested in connection with an arson attack at a house in Antrim has been released on bail.

A 72-year-old woman, who was deaf, was inside the house in Rathglynn at the time of the attack on 22 January.

Wilma Farara remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Police are continuing to appeal for information.

The middle house of the three was damaged in the arson. The door and downstairs window have been boarded up. The upstairs windows are open wide.  There is black marks around the windows. There is also signs of damage infront of the house. Image source, PA Media
