Police carried out raids in the Stone area on Thursday

A man has been charged with drug offences following a series of police raids in Staffordshire on Thursday.

A 49-year-old man from Stone was charged with possession of MDMA and cannabis with intent to supply as well as possession or use of criminal property.

He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday.

Staffordshire Police said nine other people arrested on Thursday, all from Stone, were released on conditional bail as inquiries continue.
