Man charged after death of pedestrian hit by truck

A car hit the pedestrian on Dumbarton Road in Clydebank, between the junctions of Hawick Street and Mill Road

A 58-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a truck in Clydebank.

Kellylee Robson 56, died after being struck by a Volkswagen Amarok on the westbound carriageway of Dumbarton Road on 7 November 2024.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the blue VW were not injured.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the arrested man was now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
