Three charged with ill-treatment of animal

Three people in Guernsey have appeared in court charged with the ill-treatment of an animal through sexual acts.
Peter Beau Leigh, 73, of Green Lanes, Ian Chatting-Tonks, 63, of Les Prevosts Road, and Elaine Michelle Pasquier, 66, of Routes Des Coutures, appeared at the Magistrates Court in Guernsey.
The three did not enter pleas and Judge Gary Perry adjourned the case to be heard by the Royal Court.
A string of offences allegedly occurred between 2017 and 2024, the court heard.
Mr Leigh has also been charged with telecommunications offences and behaving in an indecent manner at different sites across the island.
Mr Chatting-Tonks was also charged with animal welfare offences and telecommunications offences.
Ms Pasquier was charged with behaving in an indecent manner in public places.
Mr Leigh and Mr Chatting-Tonks's case was adjourned to October, while Ms Pasquier's hearing was adjourned to November.
