City's Christmas lights switch-on dates revealed

The dates for this year's Wolverhampton Christmas lights switch-on events have been announced.
Performances from Bilston Operatic Company and swing and jazz vocalist Andrew Bourn are part of the schedule before the switch-on in Queen Square in Wolverhampton city centre at 18:00 GMT on Saturday 22 November.
Lights will also go on at Bilston on Church Street the day before, in High Street in Wednesfield on Thursday 27 November and on Upper Green in Tettenhall on Friday 28 November.
A light projection show will take place in Wolverhampton on the same day and the following day, 29 November. Christmas markets are also to be held.
The lights switch-on event in Queen Square, which starts at 15:00, includes a funfair, a giant snow globe, face painting, and food and drink will be on sale.
City mayor, councillor Craig Collingswood, and Father Christmas will switch on the lights in the square and also do the honours at Wednesfield, Tettenhall and Bilston.
A Christmas Market will take place on Victoria Street in Wolverhampton city centre on the weekend of November 22 and 23 and for three days from Friday 28 November.
The Christmas at Bantock Market will be held on Saturday 6 December from 11:00.
And there will be a free show that includes projecting 3D images onto St Peter's Church in Wolverhampton.
The images will celebrate the history and diversity of the city and will be repeated every five minutes from 18:00 on 28 and 29 November.
Paycare, a Wolverhampton-based not-for-profit health cash plan provider, has been announced as the headline sponsor for this year's Christmas events.
The lights switch-on events are:
Friday 21 November: Bilston, Church Street - 16:30 to 19:00 with lights switch-on at 18:30
Saturday 22 November: Wolverhampton city centre, Queen Square - 15:00 to 19:00 with lights switch-on at 18:00
Thursday 27 November: Wednesfield, High Street - 16:30 to 19:00 with lights switch-on at 18:30
Friday 28 November: Tettenhall, Upper Green - 16:30 to 19:00 with lights switch-on at 18:30
