Police investigate reported rape in park

A teenage girl is reported to have been raped at a park in Kent.
Police said they were investigating the alleged attack by an unknown man in Tunbridge Wells Common, close to the junction between Mount Ephraim and Molyneux Park Road, between 20:00 and 21:00 on Saturday.
The suspect is described as a 5ft 8in (172cm) white man in his mid-30s who has dark hair worn in a bun, a short goatee beard and a moustache.
Kent Police has asked anyone with information to get in contact.
The force said it was reported that the man approached the girl as she was walking along Victoria Road.
As they walked together towards Mount Ephraim, the man allegedly took her into a wooded area and made threats before carrying out the the attack, police added.
The suspect was reported to have been wearing a blue jacket with an orange drawstring bag on his back and was travelling on a bicycle with thick tyres.
Police said they were undertaking a forensic analysis of the scene, checking for CCTV and carrying out extensive house-to-house inquiries.
