Man arrested after city centre sexual assault

Police say the assault took place at the junction of Hotel Street and Market Place South

A man has been arrested and bailed in connection with a sexual assault in Leicester city centre.
Leicestershire Police said the assault involved a man and a 19-year-old woman and took place at the junction of Hotel Street and Market Place South shortly before 01:00 BST on Sunday 26 October.
The force confirmed on Saturday that a 27-year-old man had been arrested and had since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Police have asked anyone with information about the assault to contact them.
