A film about Northamptonshire's links to the Gunpowder Plot will be part of a free fireworks display in November.
Created by Northampton Film Festival, the short film will be screened at the town's fireworks event held at The Racecourse on Saturday, 1 November.
The event will also mark 350 years since the Great Fire of Northampton destroyed 700 buildings and killed 11 people on 20 September 1675.
Keith Holland-Delamere, community services committee chairman at the town council, said: "This is one of the biggest events of the year and we can't wait to welcome everyone along to enjoy all the free entertainment on offer."
The short film, called the Gunpowder Plot, tells the story of how British history's infamous attempt to bring down the Houses of Parliament on 5 November 1605 had its origins in Northamptonshire.
The conspiracy was said to have taken place at the Manor House at Ashby St Ledgers, near Daventry, and was said to have been hatched by a group of radical Catholic conspirators at the family home of leading plotter Robert Catesby.
Mr Holland-Delamere said: "Every year we like to offer something a bit different, and this year is no exception, with even bigger and brighter fireworks and an on-screen showcase of our Great Fire Virtual Trail, which we commissioned to mark this year's 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of Northampton."
