Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses after someone tried to steal a man's quad bike

A main road has reopened after being closed for several hours while police officers investigated the attempted robbery of a quad bike.

Thames Valley Police said the V4 Watling Street in Milton Keynes was shut earlier for gathering evidence, following an incident at about 01:00 BST.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was not seriously injured and did not require hospital treatment.

The road was closed in both directions between H7 Chaffron Way and Favell Drive.

No arrests have been made and detectives are appealing for witnesses.
