More than 150 police searching for missing woman

More than 150 police officers and staff have been involved in the ongoing search for a missing 79-year-old woman.
The last confirmed sighting of Anne Stacey was at her home in St Cleer, in Cornwall, on Friday 27 September, with her movements since then unknown.
People living in the area have again been asked by the police to check their properties and CCTV footage for any sign of Ms Stacey.
Devon and Cornwall Police said specially trained search officers continued to look for her and thanked the public for the "significant number" of reported potential sightings.
25 September - Anne Stacey was seen on CCTV at Morrisons in Liskeard
26 September – she is seen at home
27 September – Ms Stacey is spoken to on the phone – it is believed she is at home
28 September – Possible sighting of Ms Stacey near her home around lunchtime. She was believed to be walking in the direction of Well Lane and Tremar. She was wearing a long blue coat and used two walking sticks.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Since she was reported missing, more than 150 officers and staff, as well as search and rescue volunteers, have been involved in searches and inquiries in efforts to locate 79-year-old Anne.
"We have received a significant number of potential sightings from the public.
"We would like to thank you for taking the time to report these to us."
The force said that it had no information to suggest that she had travelled outside of the local area.
Anyone who sees Ms Stacey or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 817 of 3 October.
