Work on wall to close roads for seven weeks
- Published
A main route into a Cornish town and a neighbouring road will be closed for seven weeks while work is carried out on a wall.
Cornwall Council said work to stabilise a wall, external next to Polperro Road in West Looe would start on Monday and was due to continue until 20 December.
The council said the work needed to be completed following a landslide on the road earlier this year and the closure would also affect North Road during the same period of time.
A diversion has been set up around the closures and school buses would still have access to the route at certain times of the day, the council added.
