West Mercia Police has renewed an appeal for witnesses to the attack on King Street, Dawley, at about 16:00 GMT on Monday.
The teenager suffered multiple wounds, but was said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
Det Insp Paul Drury said: “Local residents can expect to see a continued police presence in the area as officers continue to carry out inquiries and offer reassurance to the community."
He asked anyone who saw the incident, who was driving through the area at the time or who had dashcam footage or information to get in touch with officers, external, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
Police are trawling CCTV footage from nearby businesses and homes to identify the attackers.
The local policing team has set up a van where officers will speak to people concerned about the stabbing.
