Bikers to deliver presents to children in hospital

Children at a hospital in North Lincolnshire will receive Christmas presents delivered by hundreds of motorcyclists this weekend.
A group called the Scunny Bikers will travel to Scunthorpe General Hospital on their motorbikes to donate toys to children on the Disney Ward on Sunday 8 December.
The motorcyclists will meet at The Old Farmhouse on Doncaster Road at 11:00 GMT and will ride to Gunness and Burringham before arriving at the hospital at around 13:00.
Members of the public donated the toys via their local supermarkets and Glenny's bar in Scunthorpe.
Gavin Stubbs, who organised the event, said: "I want to say a big thank you to the local community and the supermarkets for all the donations.
"Our members absolutely love putting a smile on the children's faces. It's a wonderful way to kick-start our Christmas by donating to our local hospital."
Vikki McAlpline, Disney's Ward manager, said they are "truly grateful" for the toys and the children's faces will "light up" when they see them.
"It's tough for children in hospital at any time of the year but it's particularly hard at Christmas. This helps take their mind off what they're going through," she added.
