Murder arrest after stabbed man dies

Police are appealing for witnesses as part of the investigation

A man has died after he was stabbed during a row, police have said.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was attacked in Gilmerton Drive, Newton Heath, at about 19:25 BST on Friday, Greater Manchester Police said.
He was taken to hospital where he died on Saturday morning, the force confirmed.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of his murder, while a 44-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Both men remain in custody for questioning.
Ch Insp Peter Crowe, from GMP, said: "We understand this tragic incident will have shook our communities and we want to reassure people that we will not tolerate violence and use of weapons on our streets."
He appealed for information, adding: "We will not stop until we find offenders and bring them to justice."
