Further arrest in Birmingham disorder probe

Police said they were continuing to review footage of the incident and identify those involved

Police investigating disorder in Birmingham in the wake of the Southport stabbings have arrested another man, aged 19.

Groups gathered in Bordesley Green on 5 August, with pockets of disturbances spreading to other parts of the city in the evening.

The latest suspected is being held in custody and due to be questioned on suspicion of violent disorder, West Midlands Police confirmed.

The force said officers were continuing to review footage and were looking to identify all those involved.
