Armed police officers arrested the man in King's Lynn

A 35-year-old has been charged after police were called to reports of a man with a gun.

Norfolk Police said it received numerous calls on Saturday about the man around the Gaywood Road and Loke Road area of King's Lynn.

The force deployed armed officers and arrested a man on Queen Mary Road at 20:30 BST.

He was charged with possession of an imitation firearm and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court today.
