The first snow of this winter in Wales caused school closures and disruption on Tuesday, but there was also excitement and fun for many.

There were snow-covered scenes across the country as people woke up to a winter wonderland.

A selection of photos show a frosty panorama from Llanidloes in Powys to Mold in Flintshire and the mountain peaks of Eryri National Park seen from Anglesey.
