A man killed in a stabbing was a "loving and doting father", his father has said.

Lewis Bell, 26, died on Hills Drive, Stockton-on-Tees, shortly after 00:00 BST on Thursday, Cleveland Police said.

His father, Martin Bell, said his son was "loved massively" and the family were "devastated".

Five people who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been bailed.

In a tribute on Friday, Mr Bell said: "He was loved massively and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

“He was a loving and doting dad, son, brother, cousin and friend to many.

“As a family we are devastated.”
