Money raised will go to Swindon's Prospect Hospice.
Manufacturer of animatronic models and props, Podpadstudios will exhibit their Terminator-inspired Robot T-1-FNY, steampunk Dalek, Dr Who's K9, Star Wars R2D2 droids, animatronic dragons and life-size Batmobile.
Swindon Open Studios is a community-based art event which started with a few artists inviting family and friends. By 2004, 53 artists were involved.
Art groups where people paint for pleasure are included, as well as self-taught individuals, and those who have only recently begun selling their work.
The Family Fun Day on Saturday is free to attend.
