Dorset Police said there was no danger to the public

A school was forced into lockdown after reports people were carrying a gun nearby.
Dorset Police said it was alerted at 14:20 BST on Thursday to a group of people, possibly in possession of a handgun, outside an address in Hampreston, near Wimborne.
Armed response officers found a BB gun inside the premises but police confirmed no threats were made, nobody was injured and there was no danger to the public.
Hampreston First School confirmed it went into lockdown and has since reopened.
An anonymous email received by the BBC said children at the school "were visibly traumatised" by the event.
