Two women suffer life-threatening injuries in crash

Two women, aged in their 40s and 50s, are in a critical condition in hospital

Two women have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash near a garden centre.
Emergency crews were called to Corsham Road near Lacock in Wiltshire at 9:30 BST after an incident involving a mini-bus taxi and car.
Road closures are still in place near to the Whitehall Garden Centre.
A Chippenham Police spokesperson said: "The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, and the passenger of the taxi, a woman in her 40s, have both been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the taxi has also been taken to hospital as a precaution."
Bus services have been diverted away from the scene and the X34, which runs from Chippenham to Frome, is not stopping at Lacock, Beanacre, McDonald's and Leekes in Melksham.
