Two men seriously injured in town centre stabbings

Two men have been seriously injured after a stabbing in Bournemouth where a woman was also assaulted.

Dorset Police said they were called to Richmond Hill Drive in Bournemouth at 19:23 GMT on Monday.

A 21-year-old man from Bournemouth and a man in his 30s from Southampton were both taken to hospital, and the 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Police said a woman in her 30s was also assaulted but did not sustain any serious injuries.

The two men remain in hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening, the fore said.

A spokesperson said a cordon was in place and there would be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries were carried out.

They added anyone with information or concerns should come forward.
