CCTV reveals potential witnesses to fatal stabbing

Gloucestershire Police believe five men may have information relating to the death of Zanele Sibanda

Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman last month have released CCTV images of four men they would like to speak to.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the junction of Paul Street and Tarrington Road at about 01:45 BST on 27 August after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers pronounced Zanele Sibanda, 28, dead at the scene.

Tanaka Zivania, 32, of Dora Walk in Gloucester, has been charged with murder.

The men captured on CCTV are not being treated as suspects, police said.

It is thought that the four men were in the area around the time of the incident, the force added.

Officers believe a fifth man may have witnessed the attack.

He is was wearing a black tracksuit and jacket and is described as being white, bald and of slim build.

'Crucial information'

Police said it is believed the five men may have spoken to officers as well as other people at the time of the attack.

Det Ch Insp Wayne Usher said: "A man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Zanele Sibanda, however we are still very keen to identify the five potential witnesses.

"They were in or near Tarrington Road around the time of the incident and we believe they may have crucial information that could help with our investigation."

The people pictured, or anybody with information which could help with inquires is asked to contact police.
