Two sheep which got stuck in mud were saved with "minutes to spare" from a rising high tide.
Furness Coastguard and Bay Search and Rescue were called to rescue the two animals near Mearness Farm, Greenodd, on Sunday.
Last Monday, another sheep which was spooked by dogs had to be helped after getting stuck in mud in Kirkby-in-Furness.
The Coastguard said it would usually only respond to domestic animals in difficulty but it was deployed in the event of other people trying to rescue them and becoming casualties.

The Coastguard said the sheep were saved from a "particularly high tide"
Furness Coastguard said it was a "particularly high tide" of 10.1m (33.1ft) on Sunday.
"Bay Search and Rescue successfully recovered the sheep with only minutes to spare before the rising tide would have reached them," the Coastguard said.
