Man found in street with face and head injuries
The man was found near the library on York Road

A man has been found lying in a street with multiple face and head injuries.
The 32-year-old was discovered near the library on York Road in Hartlepool at 00:40 BST.
He was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and Cleveland Police said it was believed he had been assaulted.
The force is asking for witnesses or anyone who has doorbell or dashcam footage to get in touch.
