Pedestrian, 75, dies two weeks after road crash

A 75-year-old pedestrian has died two weeks after being seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Northampton.
Northamptonshire Police said the victim, which it has not formally named, was hit by a white Volkswagen Golf at 22:55 BST on 26 April.
Officers said the incident happened as the man crossed the A508 Harborough Road near the Whitehills pub.
A 19-year-old man from Leicestershire, who was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, remained on police bail.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, to contact them.
