New city student block ready to open

Winfield Court is located on Nottingham's Island Quarter

Construction of a student accommodation block in Nottingham city centre has been completed.

Winfield Court, located in the city's Island Quarter, will house its first residents from September.

The 693-bed building, which includes sky lounges with views across the city, will be managed by student accommodation provider Fresh.

Plans for a further 383-space student block on the Manvers Road side of the 36-acre site were submitted in February.
