Man, 80, dies days after two-car crash

An 80-year-old man who was seriously injured in a crash on the Isle of Wight has died in hospital.

Bryan Welford, from Shanklin, was driving a Citroen C3 which was involved in the crash with a Skoda Kamiq on the A3056 between Arreton and Horringford at about 14:15 BST on Wednesday.

Two people in the Skoda suffered minor injuries. No one has been arrested following the crash.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has asked anyone who witnessed the crash or the events leading up to it to contact the force.
