Three horses were rescued after the vehicle that was towing their trailer caught fire.

Crews were called to put out the blaze at an M25 roundabout near Kings Langley at about 15:22 BST on Saturday.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said its crew was at Kings Langley Carnival at the time and the vehicles were well alight when they arrived.

"All the horses made it out safely and the trailer was also safely removed," a spokesperson said.
