The parents of a man who died at a house in Somerset have paid tribute to their “kind, warm and special” son.

Henri Kekkonen, 41, died following an incident on 9 May at a property in Dunford Terrace, Baltonsborough.

His parents, Arja and Olavi, said: "Our beloved son, sibling and friend Henri has been taken from us too soon."

Christine Kekkonen, 36, of Dunford Terrace, Baltonsborough, has been charged with Mr Kekkonen's murder.

'Spirit will live on'

Mr Kekkonen's parents said their son had "a great passion for music".

"Your spirit will forever live on in the memories we cherish and the love we share," they added.

Ms Kekkonen is in custody and will next appear in court on 25 June for a plea hearing.

A provisional trial date of 11 November has also been set, with the proceedings scheduled to last seven days.
