Police officer charged with assault

A police officer in West Yorkshire has been charged with assaulting someone while on duty.
PC Denis Kadric, 32, who works in the Bradford district, has been charged with common assault.
The charge dates back to an incident on 26 January which involved a member of the public, according to West Yorkshire Police.
PC Kadric has been suspended from duty and is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on 29 July.
