Two charged after woman pushed down stairs in Belfast

A man and a woman have been charged following an aggravated burglary in west Belfast on Sunday morning.

During the incident, a man is believed to have been stabbed and a woman was pushed down the stairs.

The burglary happened in the Gardenmore Walk area shortly before 03:10 BST.

A 48-year-old man and 25-year-old woman are to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday 22 July.

Both have been charged with aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH), criminal damage and attempted GBH with intent.

A number of windows were also damaged during the incident.
