Two men have been arrested after a ram-raid on a bicycle shop in East Yorkshire.

Officers were called to the store on Norwood in Beverley just after 00:00 BST on Saturday.

A car was driven through the front window and caused "extensive damage" before two bikes were stolen, Humberside Police said.

Two men, aged 25 and 21, were arrested in connection with the incident, the force added.

The 25-year-old has been released without charge and the 21-year-old has been released on conditional bail.

Police said investigations continued and officers were reviewing CCTV footage.
