Police are searching for a 22-year-old man in connection with a murder investigation in West Sussex.
Emergency services were called to a property in Lindum Road, Worthing on Wednesday afternoon after initial reports that someone had been seriously injured.
Sussex Police said a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Det Ch Ins Mark Cullimore, leading the investigation, says officers are searching for Taylor Mitten in connection with the incident, adding: "The suspect is believed to have been known to the victim."
He said: "I'd like to express my sincere condolences to the family of the victim. They continue to be supported by specialist officers as our enquiries continue.
"While the exact circumstances remain under investigation, I'd like to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident.
"I would urge anyone who sees Taylor Mitten not to approach him, but to please dial 999 immediately, quoting Operation Duxford."
Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident at this time, he added.
