Residents are invited to Queen Square on Wednesday to find out about cancer services and between 9:30 BST and 16:00.

MacMillan Cancer Support will be there alongside NHS staff to offer help and advice for people living with the terminal disease.

From 10:00, visitors are also able to receive a free blood pressure and blood sugar test.

Information about NHS breast, bowel and cervical cancer screenings will be available, as well as the opportunity to speak to cancer nurses.

Jasbir Jaspal, City of Wolverhampton Council’s cabinet member for adults and wellbeing, said: "This is part of a series of events taking place across the region, and I would encourage anyone who has any questions about the signs and symptoms of cancer, screening, diagnosis and treatment to come along to speak to our friendly staff."

People visiting the bus will also be able to use interactive body parts to help learn how to check themselves for symptoms.
