A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car.

The man was admitted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital following the collision on the A1062 in Ludham on Saturday.

Emergency services were called just before 18:40 BST, with the air ambulance, two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle sent to the scene.

The cyclist was transported by road to hospital, the East of England Ambulance Service said.

Norfolk Police posted on social media, external that the road between the Broadland villages of Ludham and Potter Heigham was closed while the emergency services dealt with an "incident".

The road was reopened on Sunday morning.
