A man has been left seriously injured after he was attacked by group of masked men in a fitness centre car park in Bradford.
A Land Rover Freelander struck the man's VW Golf as he was leaving the Speedball venue, on Duncombe Way, between 22:15 BST and 22:25 on Sunday.
The group of men in the Land Rover then attacked the VW with baseball bats and a bladed weapon, West Yorkshire Police said.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was attacked through an open window and received injuries to his chest and an arm, the force added.
The masked men fled the scene on foot, with the man's injuries said to be non-life threatening.
Det Insp Majahid Ashruff said officers were currently treating the incident as "targeted".
"Such lawless behaviour is unacceptable on our streets, and we clearly need to identify and arrest those involved as quickly as possible," he said.
Anyone who saw the incident or had any relevant video footage have been asked to contact officers.
