Train services resume after tree and signal disruption

National Rail said the tree at Bodmin Parkway had been cleared

A fallen tree on the train tracks near Bodmin Parkway station which caused disruption to journeys in the area on Wednesday has been cleared, the rail operator National Rail has said.

National Rail said the tree , externalhad been cleared, external at 18:30 BST on Wednesday.

In a separate incident, the line between Liskeard and Looe has reopened, external after it was closed on Wednesday because of a fault with the signalling system, Network Rail said.

A replacement bus service took passengers between these stations until the end of the day, it said.
