Train services running to and from Reading and London Waterloo stations may be cancelled due to a shortage of drivers.

Passengers will be able to use alternative routes at no extra cost, South Western Railway has confirmed.

Great Western Railway routes between Paddington and Reading, and Wokingham and Reading are available as alternative routes.

Disruption is expected until 13:00 BST and the rail firm has apologised for any delays to journeys.

There are also alternative services available to passengers on London Underground lines from London Waterloo to Paddington and on the Elizabeth line from Paddington to Reading in both directions.
