Polls close for Alderney States election
The States of Alderney is made up of 10 members and a president who has a deciding vote in a tie

Polls have closed for the election of five members of the States of Alderney.
Nine candidates have been nominated for the five seats, which are half of the political seats in the island's government, which is presided over by an elected president.
Polls opened at 09:30 GMT at the Island Hall and closed at 18:30.
Voters could each cast up to five votes.
