Police officers adopt abandoned kittens

Two police officers from Wolverhampton have adopted a pair of kittens found dumped in a box.

The kittens were discovered in a hedge in Wednesfied about a week ago.

Since named Jessica and Pumpkin, they have been given the all-clear by a vet.

West Midlands Police said PCs Pete McKinnon and Ross Brant had offered to become their new "paw-rents" and had offered them new homes.

Wolverhampton city centre inspector Sophie Clement said the pair had shown hteir caring side and praised their great "cat-ittude".
