Rail delays after Reading - Newbury trains halted

An incident at Thatcham means trains between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn are unable to run

Rail travellers are facing delays between Reading and Newbury.
An incident in the Thatcham area meant all lines between the stations were closed until shortly before 09:00 GMT.
National Rail said trains running between the stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised with disruption expected until 10:00.
Taxis and a coach were brought in to shuttle rail passengers to stations affected while the lines were closed. Reading - Basingstoke services were unaffected.
The routes affected are:
Between London Paddington and Newbury / Bedwyn / Frome / Bristol Temple Meads / Paignton / Plymouth, and also between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn.
