Work on a new £12m distribution warehouse near Wolverhampton has been completed, developers said.

Work started on the two storey, 100,000 sq ft construction in June, which will be used for manufacturing, storage and distribution.

Caddick Construction took on the project, near junction one of the M54 in south Staffordshire, after the original contractor entered liquidation, project manager Virtus Consult said.

The firm is involved in other construction projects in the West Midlands including the Port Loop development, a canal-side neighbourhood in Birmingham.

Ray O'Sullivan, Caddick Construction's regional managing director, said the completion of the warehouse marked "a significant milestone" for the firm since beginning work in the wider region in 2023.
