A construction and engineering firm is to build a new £12m warehouse near Wolverhampton.

Caddick Construction said its new two-storey unit at Vernon Park near junction one of the M54 in south Staffordshire will be used for manufacturing, storage and distribution.

Work will begin this month and include new access roads, parking and cycle storage.

The firm is involved in other construction projects in the West Midlands including the Port Loop development, a canal-side neighbourhood in Birmingham.

Ray O’Sullivan, regional director of Caddick Construction Midlands, said "We have an excellent team in place to deliver Vernon Park, and we will be working with suppliers and subcontractors across Wolverhampton and the West Midlands to support our delivery of the project.”
