A 14-year-old boy has been arrested as part of a rape investigation.
It comes after Surrey Police said a rape was reported near Chertsey Library on 27 June.
Insp Ian Nash said he would continue to provide further appropriate updates to the public.
He urged people "to remain mindful of what they post online about this as it is a live case with active legal proceedings underway".
