A display of transport-related Lego models is coming to a steam railway station in Kent for the first time.

The Model Brick Show is to take place at Tunbridge Wells West railway station on the Spa Valley Railway line on Saturday and Sunday.

The show at the Victorian engine shed will feature models of varying sizes, including trains and planes.

Jonnie Pay, railway general manager, said: "It will be amazing to see some of our life-size steam and diesel trains cleverly recreated in model bricks."

Entry to the show is included within the price of the railway’s standard travel tickets.

Included in the display are a model of Tunbridge Wells West railway station, a showcase of various modes of transport in London, a layout featuring an automated turntable and engine shed and a modular layout built by members of a club for Lego train builders.

Mr Pay added: "We are really looking forward to bringing this family-friendly event to our steam railway for the first time."
