One of Manchester city centre's busiest roads is set to be closed over the weekend for annual maintenance.
The main carriageway and slip roads of Mancunian Way, a motorway section of the A57 and A635, will be impacted by closures from 05:00 BST on Saturday until 19:00 on Sunday, Manchester City Council said.
Essential inspections and repairs are due to be carried out on the road as part of its annual maintenance programme.
Deansgate interchange will also be closed east and westbound from 06:30 to 09:30 on Sunday for the works, with a lane on Princess Road to be closed on Sunday inbound from 06:30 until 11:15.
Signed diversions will be in place, external for vehicles travelling in both directions, the council said.
