Rail passengers are experiencing major disruption affecting services to and from London St Pancras station.

The emergency services were called after a person was struck by a train between Luton and St Albans.

Operators ThamesLink and East Midlands Railway said they were trying to make alternative arrangements for passengers, but warned of delays of up to 60 minutes.

East Midlands hoped to have a revised timetable by 21:30 BST, but ThamesLink said its options "will be very limited". The disruption is expected until 23:00.
