Driver arrested over fatal Perthshire crash is released

A 21-year-old driver who was arrested after his passenger died in a crash in Perthshire has been released by police.
A 19-year-old woman, who was a front seat passenger, was killed when the Ford Fiesta crashed on the B9099 Luncarty to Stanley Road at 02:50 on Sunday.
Another 19-year-old woman who sitting in the back seat was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.
The driver, who was also seriously injured, had been arrested over road traffic offences.
The road near the junction to Gowrie Farm was closed for accident investigation work and reopened on Sunday afternoon.
Sgt Steve Livesey said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died and those who have been injured."
