Police seized 308 cannabis plants from an industrial unit on Larchfield Road

More than 300 cannabis plants, with an estimated value of £323,000, have been seized from an industrial unit in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police executed a drugs warrant on Larchfield Road in Hunslet on Friday.

Officers found 308 cannabis plants at the premises and the remains of a further 249 plants which had been cropped.

A man, 20, has been charged with the production of cannabis has been remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 29 November.
